As a Sales & Service Manager at Goldfish Swim School, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to teach children valuable life skills while building a supportive and exciting work environment for our team. Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Lead and inspire our front desk and sales teams to achieve excellence in customer service and sales.
- Manage daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient school activities in line with our standard procedures.
- Provide training and mentorship to front desk staff, ensuring high performance and job satisfaction.
- Drive sales through effective marketing strategies, promotions, and lead management.
- Conduct regular audits and provide insightful reports to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
- Oversee the retail and vending areas, ensuring they are well-stocked, organized, and profitable.
- Foster a positive and engaging environment for both employees and customers, enhancing the overall Goldfish Swim School experience.
What we’re looking for:
- A passion for sales and service, with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or administrative roles.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate a team towards achieving goals.
- A proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, and/or childcare provider preferred. Two or more years as a swimming instructor preferred.
Work Environment:
While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.
Certificates and Licenses:
Lifeguard, CPR/AED, First Aid certifications and Ellis lifeguarding certifications required. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required. Training will be provided. Certifications must be kept up to date.
Compensation: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
