Position Overview:
As an onboarding coordinator for Goldfish Swim School, your role is pivotal in ensuring new hires have an engaging and smooth transition into our dynamic environment. You'll orchestrate the onboarding process, from paperwork to introductions, making sure each newcomer feels welcomed and equipped for success. Your responsibilities include onboarding activities, coordinating and hosting orientations, and fostering a vibrant company culture. By being the bridge between new hires and our workplace core values, you'll contribute to a positive and inclusive atmosphere where everyone can thrive and be set up for a successful career with Goldfish Swim School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Onboarding Documentation:
    Oversee the completion of new hire paperwork, including employment contracts, tax forms, and company policies. Ensure all documentation is accurate, organized, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Building Relationships: Serve as a point of contact for new hires, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the onboarding process. Foster positive relationships with colleagues and managers to facilitate smooth integration into the team.
  • Facilitating Orientation Sessions: Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies, procedures, and expectations. Provide information on benefits, perks, and resources available to employees.
  • Coordinating Training: Coordinate training sessions for new hires, ensuring they receive the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. Collaborate with department managers to schedule and organize job-specific training sessions.
  • Evaluating Onboarding Effectiveness: Collect feedback from new hires and stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of the onboarding process. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the onboarding experience.
  • Promoting Company Culture: Promote the company's values, mission, and culture throughout the onboarding process. Organize team-building activities, social events, and initiatives that encourage camaraderie and collaboration among employees.
  • Maintaining Onboarding Resources: Keep onboarding materials, resources, and training materials up to date and accessible to new hires. Develop and maintain onboarding manuals, checklists, and online resources for easy reference.
  • Supporting Diversity and Inclusion: Ensure that the onboarding process is inclusive and accommodating to individuals from diverse backgrounds. Foster a welcoming environment where all employees feel valued and respected.
  • Adapting to Changes: Stay informed about changes in company policies, procedures, and systems that may impact the onboarding process. Adapt onboarding programs and procedures as needed to accommodate evolving organizational needs.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
