About the Role
As the General Manager of the location, you’ll be the heartbeat of everything at the facility. Your leadership is key to the Goldfish Swim School community experience. You will directly influence this through:
- Leading an incredible team through coaching and mentorship
- Being a voice and presence representing Goldfish in our community
- Ensuring highest standards of safety and service.
Reporting to the Regional General Manager, this role combines training, organization, leadership, and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
- Responsible for fostering a fin-credible culture where employees love to come to work
- Conduct regular leadership meetings for your location
- Participate in regular regional leadership meetings
- End-to-end responsibility for hiring, onboarding, and offboarding
Financial and Operational Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the staff schedule, class schedules, and capacity optimization of lesson levels
- Responsible for all billing and payroll
Facility Maintenance and Pool Operations Oversight:
- Plan school maintenance needs to ensure the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the facility are upheld to the highest standards.
- Obtain CPO Certification and assist in pool maintenance tasks as directed by the Aquatics Facility Operator.
Certifications and Availability:
- Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Certification required (Training provided if not currently certified)
- Certified Pool Operator Certification required (Training provided if not currently certified)
- All certifications must be kept current in accordance with renewal standards
- This is a full-time position (40 hrs/week).
- Flexible availability is required, including weekdays, evenings and weekend shifts to accommodate for the business need.

Compensation: $36.00 - $39.00 per hour
